WHAT TO BRING IN YOUR BACKPACK? This question is answered from experience, so this article will help you to settle on what to take and not to take.
Remember to adjust your baggage according to the activities you will perform during your trip, to be as selective as possible,
Remember the two rules of the Backpack: Be ultra selective Pack ultra compressed.
Follow these tips to decide what to wear: Delete unnecessary and superfluous things. Serving you for two days serves for 4 or 5 days. If your backpack is light weight, it will be easy to transport it without much effort and thus you will best enjoy the trip If you have personal hobbies such as photography, take your equipment and accessories but do not forget your waterproof plastics to protect them from the rains and moisture. For this trip we recommend you to take a medium-sized 30 liter backpack - big enough to carry everything you need for the trip - and another small backpack for the day, to carry with you your bottle of water, insect repellent, sunscreen, flashlight and snacks. Compress your clothes into tidy plastic bags so it’s easier to get what you need from the backpack. Roll your clothes and put into small bags. This will also keep your things dry.
Packing List: Use this list just to get an idea of what you'll need on your trip. If you are 100% sure you'll use it, take it. If you think it could be useful, but you're not sure, don't take you it. Try not to fill the bag completely – you’ll be thankful for its lightness on the trail.
What should I pack? Please bring comfortable walking shoes, lightweight long pants and long sleeved shirts for our excursions, as well as a wide-brimmed hat, sunscreen, extra socks, Dark-colored clothing, Swimwear, sandals and a small personal towel, Water bottle or canteen, mosquito repellant with DEET, and of course your camera with charger and extra batteries and waterproof ponchos with hoods to protect against rain, torch/flashlight with extra battery. You may wish to include some small items that you can give away to the locals (t-shirts, pens and candies are especially prized). During meals in the dining room we ask our guests to wear casual clothing and shoes or sandals. We provide rubber boots for walk in the rainforest. Binoculars - Very important to enjoy wild life (Vortex 10 x 42, Bushnell, Nikon 8 x 42).
